Supply Chain Trainee

This trainee function offers the exciting opportunity to gain broad experience in our core supply chain processes (supply and demand planning, inventory management, purchasing, warehousing & distribution) while simultaneously spending a significant amount of your time on cross-functional improvement projects. You will be in direct contact with virtually all other functional areas and you will be exposed to a wide variety of topics from new product introductions to production planning & scheduling, meaning that no single day will be the same. You feel responsible for the end-to-end supply chain, you organize overview and control, and feel pride in ensuring that the rest of the organization can count on you.
You are a high potential who is eager to learn and grow and you are at your best when working with other people. You are hands-on, reliable, accurate, structured and committed to deliver results. Your analytical, planning and communication skills are excellent and you have the ability to deal with details without losing sight of the big picture. You listen to others, but are not afraid to share your own opinion. You get excited when confronted with change.
- Master degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Econometrics, Operations Research or similar
- A maximum of 3 years of work experience in a relevant (supply chain) function and/or industry
- Excellent communication skills (verbally and written) in Dutch and English and comfortable to work in an international environment
- Proficient with MS Office. Knowledge of ERP systems, SQL and planning tools is a pre
