Therefore, we are looking for a strong and autonomous Program Manager that can shape, manage and deliver these new devices to the market together with a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled professionals. A unique position in which you can make an impact, develop yourself and be at the forefront of revolutionary surgery solutions.
You lead new product introduction programs and you are responsible for structure, coordination and execution of the complete process from product design, supplier selection, manufacturing engineering, validation, design transfer and marketing until the actual launch of these new instruments in the market. You are capable to switch between in-depth content challenging discussions with your work stream leads on the one hand and overall program progress updates with your in- and external senior stakeholders on the other hand. You set priorities, anticipate challenges and guard both quality and time-to-market.
You will be part of the R&D team together with the development engineers and development specialists and will closely interact with virtually all other disciplines including Operations (Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, Production and Supply Chain), Business Development and Marketing. You will report to the VP R&D.
You are a decisive, perseverant and strong leader that stands his/her ground and has a keen eye for achieving program results. You have a natural talent for involving and motivating others, and especially for engaging stakeholders. By giving people freedom and responsibility, you create strong commitment and high performance.
You are smart and self-confident. You easily connect with different parties and you actively gather and share information to keep a close eye on the progress of the program and to steer if and where required.
Qualifications & competencies
- Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience as a consultant or project/program manager in a high tech product development / new product introduction environment
- A master degree, combined with a strong interest in both business and engineering
- Excellent communication skills (verbally and written) in Dutch, English and preferably German
- Comfortable to work in an international environment. Persuasive, pro-active and experienced in stakeholder management
- Understanding of and experience with the medical device sector’s regulatory and quality requirements is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to make and implement decisions
- Open minded, multi-disciplinary team player who takes the initiative, seeks innovative solutions and is results-driven
